CourseGraphic Food can be beautiful! First, you’ll turn food into faces, creating 2-D collages using cut out food images to make your own unique and imaginative portrait heads inspired by the 16th century Italian painter, Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Next explore the world of food, art, and photography, inspired by contemporary artist/photographer Carl Warner, by designing 3-D food landscapes out of real fruits, vegetables, grains, and more.  Start out by creating and photographing a simple broccoli or celery forest to craft the illusion of depth and height. Then take it a step further, and fashion your own food landscape with an underwater, tropical, or cloud background. What will you design with food?
