CourseGraphic

Come discover the joy of forming flat pieces of metal into dimensional shapes and jewelry.  Learn to use professional jeweler’s tools, such as hammers for texturing, pliers for forming and files for smoothing. With copper, brass and stones as your medium, learn real metalsmithing techniques. Shape and finish metals into rings, pendants, and other jewelry, plus form items such as bowls or leaves.  Cold connections like rivets and tabs will be used to join pieces, no soldering or power tools needed. Once your creations are finished, learn to add color with patinas and enamels as the final touch.
